Natural is the word that comes to mind when discussing sculptra. Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is a biostimulator that stimulates healthy collagen production. It comes as a powder that is diluted prior to use. Its dilution can be tailored to address a variety of facial aging concerns including global volumization, skin rejuvenation or bony changes. Because sculptra stimulates your body’s own production of collagen, there is not the risk of looking unnatural or over-filled.
The ‘sculptra lateral lift’ specifically targets the temple, lateral cheek and preauricular skin. By concentrating on these areas and injecting behind retaining ligaments, this technique works beautifully to give a natural, lateral tightening and lift to the entire face.
