Aveli Q&A with Dr. Kober and Jamie
why did you have aveli?
Jamie: “I was excited to try the Avéli treatment when Dr. Zamora brought it on. Who wouldn’t want to get rid of cellulite permanently? I was game!”
What was your aveli treatment like?
Jamie: “It was really easy! Dr. Kober marked my thighs and butt and then we got started. She numbed the areas - which was the worst part - and then she treated each of my cellulite dimples. I was awake during the treatment but didn’t have any pain or discomfort. It was really cool because she was targeting each depression in my skin and then confirming that she cut the band that was causing the cellulite dimple so I knew I would get results.”
DID THE AVELI TREATMENT HURT?
Jamie: “I only had mild discomfort during the numbing injections. I really didn’t feel anything during the treatment itself. There was a little tugging on the skin but it didn’t hurt, it was just a sensation.”
what happened after your treatment?
Jamie: “I actually went back to work LOL. Immediately after I was still numb so there wasn’t any pain. The night of the procedure I was pretty sore. Once the numbing wore off and I got home, I felt like I had something done. It was totally manageable though, and I was able to sleep so it wasn’t that bad.”
What was your aveli recovery?
“I did have discomfort in the treatment areas for about 5 days after the treatment but it wasn’t terrible, it just felt tender and sore. Dr. Kober told me to wear compression garments to help with the bruising and swelling. I wore Spanx undergarments for the first 2 weeks and I feel like this really helped. My bruising lasted about 2 weeks but when it was gone, I could really start seeing my results!”
WHAT ABOUT DOWNTIME?
Jamie: “There wasn’t any! I went shopping the next day and was running my errands as usual. I was sore, but nothing bad - the Spanx helped. I was able to keep my normal routine after having Aveli - no interruptions.”
So back to working out?
Jamie: “Oh no- I had to wait 2 weeks before resuming my workouts. But like I said, at 2 weeks my bruising was gone, so I felt better about starting to work out again.”
Are you pleased with your aveli results?
